Our Insight Committee is part of our formal governance structure. It’s made up of customers, Board members and some independent members and its job is to oversee important parts of our work that specifically relate to customers.
Customers apply to be on the committee and go through a fair and open selection process. We then offer those who want it help and support with extra skills and experience they might need to do a great job in helping to represent our customers’ point of view in running the organisation.
This year we decided to make the committee stronger by recruiting two extra customer members. We were delighted to welcome Micheal and George to the committee towards the end of 2023. Alongside this we have taken other steps during the year to improve and increase the voice of our customers in the organisation.
