04 Powering Our People

Powering our people

Making our 450+ workforce feel valued.

To have happy customers, you have to have happy colleagues. That’s why we’re committed to investing in our team members, whether that’s putting them through our own in-house development programme ‘The Leadership Academy’ or offering time off from the usual day job to volunteer in our ‘Futures in the Community’ work.

By giving colleagues these opportunities, it helps build up an inclusive and values-based culture that engages and empowers our people to better meet the needs of our customers and the organisation.

This year also saw us have our first all-staff event in over seven years, lots of health and wellbeing initiatives, several award nominations and wins, and the amazing news that we’d retained the highest Platinum status from Investors in People.
